Carlsbad Caverns

Beneath the Chihuahuan Desert in southern New Mexico is a vast cave system consisting of over 100 caves that have formed over thousands of years, preserved by Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Encompassing subterranean wonders, desert landscapes, and wetlands, the main attraction of the park is the "Big Room": a large, underground limestone chamber featuring unique geological formations.
