Glacier Bay

Glacier Bay National Park was established in 1980, the 43rd of America's National Parks to receive designation. The park is located in southeast Alaska's Inside Passage, a coastal route often traversed by cruise ships. The bay is surrounded by towering peaks, including Mount Fairweather, and glaciers like the huge Grand Pacific Glacier. Its native wildlife includes humpback whales and puffins.
