Great Smoky Mountains

Straddling the borders of North Carolina and Tennessee is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This sprawling, mountainous landscape encompasses lush forests and an abundance of wildflowers that bloom year-round. Streams, rivers, and waterfalls appear along its many hiking routes, which includes a segment of the Appalachian Trail.
