North Cascades

Designated in 1968, North Cascades National Park is located in northern Washington State. A vast wilderness of conifer-clad mountains, glaciers, and lakes, the park's eponymous North Cascades Range is often referred to as the American Alps for its snow-capped peaks. The park's tallest mountain, Goode Mountain, has an elevation of over 9,220 feet.
