Theodore Roosevelt

In western North Dakota, where the Great Plains meets the rugged Badlands, lies Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Established in 1978, the park is renowned for its colorful Painted Canyon, Scenic Loop Drive, and the Maltese Cross Cabin where President Roosevelt once lived. The area also provides a great habitat for bison, elk, prairie dogs, and other native species.
