Kenai FjordsDesignated in 1980, Kenai Fjords National Park was the 45th of America's National Parks to be established. The park is located on the Kenai Peninsula in southern Alaska, where solid rivers of blue ice flow through the granite mountains and fall into the sea. The park's rugged landscapes span fjords, mountains, and glaciers, all surrounded by slate-colored cliffs teeming with wildlife such as puffins and sea lions. |
