Mount Rainier

Mt. Rainier National Park was designated in 1899, the 4th American National Park to be established. The park is an expansive Washington state wilderness preserve southeast of Seattle. With a summit that reaches 14,417 feet tall, Mt. Rainier is both the tallest mountain in Washington state and the tallest peak in the Cascade Volcanic arc.
