NP of American Samoa

National Park of American Samoa was designated in 1988, the 50th of America's National Parks to be established. The park is an isolated diamond in the South Pacific, one of the most picturesque and hardest to reach of the parks in the system. The five volcanic islands are nothing more than tiny dots on a map, some 2,600 miles south west of Hawaii.
